13th January '03: OURPGSoc FLRP is no longer running Friday night events in Nocturne. Instead, we're now running weekend afternoon events in The White City.
13th January '03: Tidied up a whole bunch of loose ends, deleted the entries for some pages which are now never going to be written, and did a final update and clearout of the links page. We were planning a revision of the skills system to streamline it a great deal, getting rid of a lot of extraneous skills, skills which are never used, skills which have too many levels and skills which are too confusing or gamebreaking, likely including the Consecration and Enchantment skills and rules, but that's no longer worth doing. Likewise, the Lorewarden Miracle writeups almost certainly never will be finished - apologies to all those who were waiting for them with bated breath!
On the plus side, having already played in the first playtest of the White City system, I can say unreservedly that it's far simpler, far less confusing, doesn't contain huge almost impossible to remember spell lists and is altogether a far better system.
23rd October '02: By the end of this week the ancient and rickety FLRP weapons we've been using for the past however many years, cobbled together by members out of bamboo, foam, glue and gaffa tape, will be replaced by shiny new professionally made weapons!
The new weapons consist of two single-handed maces, four single-handed swords and two two-handed swords.
We've also been donated a very nice sword by an ex-member. The armoury's looking up!
23rd October '02: Links page updated to take account of pages which have moved or disappeared. Now includes links for the 'Wandering Shore' Omega LRP Community site and Artisan Armours, while the Nemesis LRP and Armchair Armoury pages appear to have died. Minor updates and corrections on several other pages.
Webmaster still having 'puter problems, but now with regular borrowed access elsewhere.
