The Crosseye Tavern is situated on the island known as The Eye, which stands in the center of the River Nox. It is a centre for gossip, a place where veteran adventurers go on their way out of Nocturne to intimidate young, fresh faced adventurers on their first trip into the dark realm. Almost everything which goes in or out of Nocturne crosses over the Nox at this point and so chances are you'll find someone who knows the information you're looking for here - for a price, of course, (and maybe a couple of pints of beer)...
The wall next to the dartboard is covered by a profusion of notices, announcements, advertisements and other scraps and tidbits, many of them now yellowed with age, rendered nearly illegible by various stains of unknown provenance and peppered with holes from errant darts. Dirt-smudged fingerprints mark a few of the fluttering pages as having had more attention paid to them than most...
And of course, pinned to the wall near the bar, covered in beer stains (or at least I hope that's beer...) are a number of bedraggled copies of the Outpost Post, Outpost's irregularly printed news-sheet...
Pinned beneath them is another notice -
"If you want to see the Outpost Post, go to their offices. We need this space for a new bar. If you've got a problem with that, speak to Bad Bob."
